Amy Kawa Posner

Amy Kawa Posner is an associate attorney with The Shevy Law Firm, LLC where she practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and elder law. Prior to joining the firm, Amy was an attorney at The Wills and Trusts Firm, LLP in New York City for several years. She is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) where she is the current co-Vice Chair of the Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities Committee. She is also a member of the Elder Law Section of NYSBA.

Amy earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar. Prior to becoming a Trusts and Estates attorney, Amy had a career in the arts as a performer, instructor, and administrator. She earned her bachelor’s degree in piano performance from The Juilliard School, and her master’s degree in arts administration from Boston University.

Amy is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida.
